A Langley event planned with fibre and textile fans in mind is on the way for early May, and it will give both professionals and hobbyists alike lots to talk about.
The annual Langley Weavers and Spinners Guild Fibre Retreat Day will soon be welcoming registrants. There will be lots to see and do, and each ticket holder will be treated to a light lunch.
The activity will open with some welcome remarks, and after this, everyone will be able to browse through the vendor tables while they mix and mingle. This will be followed by a demonstration and lunch, and a half-time stretch has been included in the agenda. The afternoon will open with a felted soap demo and bobbin lace workshop, and everyone will be able to try their luck in the raffle draws.
Events focused on a specific hobby or profession may attract a lot of attention, making them valuable opportunities for local small companies to connect with a new client base. Business Cards and other materials for such events may be ordered from business card printing shops.
This day planned with Langley fibre fans in mind is scheduled for May 5th at the Langley Arts Council, located at 26770 29 Avenue. It will run from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm, and tickets for the occasion are $27.96 per person.
