The Langley area is home to many farms and other agricultural operations that supply the city with fresh produce and other food. An event offering a behind-the-scenes look into how this happens will be held this summer at Central Park Farms, and the whole family can enjoy the food, fun, and friendship.
Guests who participate in this annual event will be treated to an afternoon meal that will make locally grown produce and meat the stars of the show. The occasion will be both educational and tasty, as the attendees will be offered tours of the Central Park Farms and greenhouse.
Three different meal options will be on offer for the ticket holders – chicken, a beef burger or a hot dog. Dessert and drinks, as well as an additional hot dog, can be purchased separately if desired. The guests have been asked to bring along a chair, blanket or other seating they can set up in the farm field.
As well as the food, the event will feature games and other activities, and the planners noted that it can be an opportunity for kids to learn where the meal on their plate came from. Signs and other decor for this sort of event can be crafted by area printing services providers.
