A project that will introduce working with epoxy is now accepting registrations, and it will be a hands-on learning activity.
The Maker Cube, which can be found in Langley, has organized this class to give those who have never worked with epoxy before a chance to do so, and the workshop is open to all members of the public. It will teach the foundations of the practice, and the group will be working with ecopoxy, which is a wood-derived product.
The two-part event will begin with project preparation, and the staff will guide the learners through every step of the process. The result will be a charcuterie board that the learners may choose to keep or give as a holiday gift. They will discover how they can use the substance to add additional colour, texture and finish to an item.
Everyone who Signs up for the activity will need to supply their own safety glasses, and safety masks are also mandatory. Attendees must also provide proof of vaccination. Liability waivers and other documents for this type of occasion may be obtained from area Stationery printers.
Maker Cube has made arrangements to host this workshop on November 6th and it will wrap up on November 13th. The registration fee for the function is $350.00 per person, and there is enough space for up to four registrants.
