Langley event focus on celebrating life

A fundraiser will be hosted at Langley’s Krause Berry Farms and Estate Winery in August, and the proceeds will help two local not-for-profit groups.

This benefit for the Langley Hospice Society and Langley Lodge will see hundreds of painted lady butterflies released as symbols dedicated to the memory of loved ones and hope for the future. It’s suitable for any age, and along with the release, there will be many other activities planned to make the day as fun as it is poignant.

Pre-registration for this event is now available, and each butterfly is $25. It is highly recommend by the organizers that those who are interested do so well ahead of time. Ticket holders are encouraged to arrive early, with the butterflies taking to the sky at 1:30pm. This will be accompanied by children’s entertainment, face painting and crafts, and food can be purchased on site.

The proceeds from this event will benefit the community by supporting both hospice services and the Langley Lodge. Banner printing and other promotional services for this sort of function can be obtained at a local printing company.

The seventh annual Butterfly Release in support of two groups that service the local community will be taking place on August 8th. The Canada Helps website includes all the details about the event and the beneficiaries.
