Second-year students at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) will be showing off their new skills in a tasting event that will be held at a Langley taproom.
The Barley Merchant has invited local beer lovers to attend the 2023 Signature Series Tap Takeover. The attendees will be treated to a flight of three uniquely crafted beers, and it will give them a chance to sample styles they might otherwise not get to try.
The organizers have explained that the plan is for the kegs to be tapped at 4:00 pm, and the beers will be poured for the enjoyment of the attendees for as long as supplies last. The students will be on site so the participants can meet them in person and learn about their craft. A stout, IPA, and Saison will all be on offer. This will be the final instalment of the Student Signature Series for 2023.
Once they have completed their training, graduates of a brewing program may go on to start their own brewery. Packaging supplies and a Logo Design are typically sourced when new companies start up.
