While fresh flowers can be beautiful, they do not last. A Langley workshop will teach a method for preparing blooms that will provide a long-lasting alternative to fresh flowers.
The Japanese Flower Making class will soon be held at the City of Langley Library. It will run for one hour, and the instruction will be provided to the group in English.
The facilitator will teach the registrants techniques for preparing faux flowers, and the session will be suited to those age eight and up. All of the materials needed to complete the project will be provided, and there will be no registration fee charged, but anyone who would like to take part has been asked to register ahead of time. This will ensure there are enough supplies on hand for everyone.
A hands-on crafting class like this can make learning a new hobby a lot more fun, and it also gives the participants a chance to meet and socialize. A flyer printing company’s services can be a good fit for such a grassroots-level activity.
