Langley breakfast collects toys for kids

The Langley Christmas Bureau has issued a call to all members of the community seeking support for an activity that will make the holidays brighter for all.

The not-for-profit organization will be offering a warm welcome to those who attend its Christmas Wish Breakfast. The activity has been held annually since 1987, and it will be held at Newlands Golf and Country Club.

Both individuals and families alike may participate in the breakfast, and while there will be no admission fee charged, everyone has been asked to bring a generous donation of an unwrapped toy or toys. RCMP and Langley City Fire Department members will be on site to lend a hand with the collection.

While they mingle, the attendees will be treated to live entertainment, as well as a chance to meet Santa live and in person. This volunteer-driven activity is part of its organizer's larger holiday project, which is to raise at least $240,000 for local families.

Part of organizing a successful fundraiser may be choosing effective marketing materials that are economically priced. Stationery printers will be able to offer a full line of options that can help to bring an activity in at, or even under, budget.

This year's Christmas Wish Breakfast will be helping to bring joy to one and all on November 25th. RSVPS are not required to attend.
