Cranberries are just one of the many crops grown in British Columbia, and Fort Langley National Historic Site will be hosting a celebration of its annual cranberry harvest.
Those who come to the event will have an opportunity to take part in an assortment of cranberry-related activities. There will be a staging of the popular cranberry stomp, and cranberry-themed games will be set up as well. Those who come out will be able to learn how this popular fruit is grown and harvested, and also how it is used in a variety of products.
In keeping with autumn harvest theme, an variety of vendors will be on hand with displays set up for the crowd to browse through, and visitors can also view the rest of the historic site as well. As part of the Canada 150 celebrations, there will be no admission fee charged to participate, and all ages are welcome.
