Breast cancer awareness event planned or Langley

Each year, thousands of Canadian women and hundreds of Canadian men are diagnosed with breast cancer, and during a special event that has been planned for Langley, attendees will have an opportunity to learn more about the disease, how it is treated and the different options that may be available to them.

Fraser Health BRA Day, which is open to everyone, people for all across the region will be coming together to learn more about this disease and show solidarity with the men and women who are living with it. The night will open with Melissa Tranredi, who is a star athlete and will be addressing the crowd and sharing her own story. After this, there will be a discussion of the different options that are available for breast reconstruction surgery.

Those who come will also learn about he different treatments that are currently in use as well as the ones on the horizon, and also the choices that are available should a man or woman wish to have a family in the future. The organizers have also planned a fashion show to inspire attendees and show them how fabulous they can be, as well as a show and tell lounge. The event will be held in Langley’s Porsche Centre on October 11th, and there is no charge to participate. Refreshments will be served, and parking is also free.
