The Big Deal Charity Gala is taking place this month, acting as a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley.
This is the first of what is expected to become an annual event. The theme of this year’s gala is “The Great Gatsby” and guests are encouraged to dress the part.
There will be plenty of activities for guests to enjoy including dinner, live entertainment and a game show. The Big Deal game show is patterned on Deal or No Deal. Guests purchase a raffle ticket and pick a case, they can either keep the prize inside the case or auction it off. The show will be co-hosted by mayor’s Jack Froese and Val van den Broek.
The evening will start off with a VIP champagne and gala reception for sponsors. Sponsorships are still available for $500 up to $2,500; sponsors will be listed in the program that all guests will receive.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley is an organization that provides support and mentoring to children who need it. Many of these children come from one-parent homes.
Langley poster printing services are regularly asked to assist with the advertising of events like this by providing Posters that can be distributed in the community.
The Big Deal Charity Gala will be held at the Coast Hotel and Convention Centre on February 23 beginning at 6:30pm. Tickets are $125 each and tables of eight are available.
