The Empowering Small Business event will take place at the Community Center (Agora) next month, kicking off the first day of Small Business Week.
The theme will be ‘Expand your business, achieve your goals’. The day will start off with a pancake breakfast and will be followed by several speakers and displays from organizations who help with business development and networking opportunities.
In addition to learning how they can improve their businesses, small business owners will be using this event as an opportunity to get their companies known to the local business community. With that in mind, they will no doubt be arranging for business card printing services from Sherwood Park printing companies. Business Cards are an essential tool as they help increase referral networks which enable a business to expand and grow.
Small Business Week will e will run from October 15 – 19, concluding with the Business Awards Dinner and Gala which will take place at the Community Center (Agora) in Sherwood Park from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm. This is a presentation by the Sherwood Park & District Chamber of Commerce. Awards include Business of the Year, Community Service/Improvement, and the Don Neil Young Entrepreneurial Award.
