An afternoon of family-friendly festivities will be adding a touch of fun to February at a Sherwood Park venue, and it will offer both indoor and outdoor activities.
Greenland Garden Centre has issued an invitation to children and their parents to attend its Family Fun Day Sunday, and its agenda offers excitement for all ages. It will welcome the public for three hours.
Hayrides and a free outdoor marshmallow roast will be on offer, so long as the weather cooperates. There will be live entertainment and a special Kids Contest too, and everyone will be able to participate in a mini plant workshop. In addition, local animal rescues have been invited to bring some furry friends who are in need of a loving forever home for a meet and greet with the crowd. Those who plan on coming out are reminded to look for the new road signage that has been posted.
A Sherwood Park winter can feel very long, and attending special events like this can help to keep the “winter blahs” at bay. Community guides prepared by a brochure printing company will let local residents know what is going on in a neighbourhood so they can make their plans accordingly.
