This November, guests will be gathering at Festival Place for the 49th annual Sherwood Park and District Chamber of Commerce Business Awards. These will provide a tip of the hat to local companies, individuals and organizations that have gone above and beyond, and when this was written its nomination system was still open.
During the celebration, the attendees will be invited to mix and mingle, building the network of contacts and exchanging Business Cards as they do. They will be able to watch the awards being presented, and The organizers have created six different categories for awards, and except for the Vern Hartwell Business Collaboration Award, the public is invited to submit their choice for nomination. When they do, they will need to explain why they feel their choice deserves to be acknowledged.
Many cities and towns choose to acknowledge contributions of their corporate and not for profit communities by hosting award presentation ceremonies. Custom designed awards can be prepared for an event by a printer that is able to provide in-house graphic design options.
Sherwood Park and District’s Chamber of Commerce will be rolling out the red carpet for its 49th annual Business Awards ceremony on November 20th. Nominations can be submitted to its selection committee through its nomination system until noon on October 26th, and it can be accessed through the Chamber’s website.
