Alberta plant lovers may want to head down to Sherwood Park at the end of the month for a full weekend activity.
The fall edition of the Rare Tropical Plant Expo will be a time for everyone from newbie home horticulturists to serious collectors to learn, meet other “plant parents” and score some new species and cultivars. It will feature a curated roster of vendors, and it will be a one-stop shopping experience.
The expo will feature sellers from across Canada and rest of the world, and along with the plants, there will be handmade goods, foods, fertilizers and growing mediums, accessories and more on offer. Attendees can meet the growers in person, gathering and sharing their own tips as they do. A concession area will be on site, and parking will also be available.
To add extra fun to the two-day activity, there will be raffle draws. The prizes will be donated by the registered sellers. Stationery printers can lend a hand when it comes to preparing information packages to supply to the applicants that will be setting up shop in an event like this so they know what to expect and can be prepared to take full advantage of the opportunity.
Alberta plan fans can head down to the Rare Tropical Plant Expo on September 26th and 27th. It will be on offer at The Agora, located at 401 Festival Lane in Sherwood Park.
