An event planned for the Sherwood Park area will give kids a chance to swim some laps with Santa.
The Emerald Hills Leisure Centre has scheduled a swim for area families. This swimming session will run for four hours, and there will be lots of fun on deck for the attendees to enjoy.
The Santa Swim session will begin in mid-morning, and the bathers will be able to show off their most festive swimsuits while they splash around and have fun. The organizers have explained that, for safety reasons, the children need to be accompanied by an attendant who is at least 14 years of age. It is free for facility members, and a small entry fee will be charged to the general public. Anyone with questions is asked to contact the organizers by phone.
