A summer celebration with a Scottish flair is on the agenda for Sherwood Park, and this two-day festival will welcome one and all.
The Sherwood Park Highland Gathering is right around the corner, and it will have fun in store for all ages. Admission to the festivities is free, and there will be activities for almost every age and interest.
The gathering will celebrate Scottish music, culture, food and other traditions, and both piping and drumming competitions are in the works. The crowd can enjoy the performances by the Massed Band, as well as Highland dancing and heavy games, and the adults can cool off and relax in the beer garden.
Along with all the other fun, the participants will be invited to sit in on ceilidh, a Scottish-style musical party. Food trucks will keep everyone well fed, and they can show some love to their local small business community in the Celtic market.
A festival may require specialized marketing services such as banner printing, and this job can be performed by a local Print shop. It will have the knowledge and equipment needed for the task at hand, and can accommodate most budgets.
