Sherwood Park session to craft feline-friendly gardens

Cats often eat grass and other plant materials for both medicinal benefits and just because they enjoy it, and those who register for an upcoming Sherwood Park activity will prepare some cat-friendly additions for their gardens.

Sherwood Park’s Salisbury Greenhouse will be welcoming both cat and garden lovers for a workshop that will prepare cat gardens, and each attendee will create their very own planter to take home. They will be able to choose from the plants provided, and the only fee will be the cost of the materials used for the project.

The organizers have partnered with Second Chance Animal Rescue Society (SCARS) to host this activity, and there will be cats on site to meet and cuddle with, many of which are looking for a loving home to call their own. Donations to the Rescue will also be appreciated, and these will be used to help look after the cats and kittens in its care.

Organizing fundraising activities is often an essential part of managing a not-for-profit group. A flyer printing provider will be able to lend a hand in marketing these sorts of functions to a community.

This Cat Garden workshop will be on offer on April 3rd, and it will begin at 10:00 am. The venue is located at 52337 Range Road in Sherwood Park.
