Sherwood Park is set to celebrate the arrival of 2022, and volunteers are now being sought to help out during an evening of activities in honour of the occasion.
Several venues will be playing host to various activities that will make the most of the frosty winter weather. Festival Place, the Kinsmen Leisure Centre and other locations will all have fun on offer, and all ages are welcome to attend.
To help make the function successful, a call has gone out to the community for volunteers, and there are several positions that need to be filled. These include a bobsled marshal, blizzard bowling attendant, event photographers, emergency medical services (EMS) personnel and more. These helpers will be working with a variety of ages, and anyone with questions about the various roles is asked to email the volunteer coordinators.

Sherwood Park will be welcoming the public for its New Year's Eve Festival on December 31st. It will begin at 4:00 pm, and the celebration will wrap up with a firework display at 8:00 pm.
