HOPE International Development Agency works in Ethiopia to ensure that all of its residents have clean water to drink. In Sherwood Park, an event will be held early this summer that will support its efforts while also raising awareness of the cause.
The organization has made arrangements to host an event that will be all about family-friendly fun. Four different events are on offer, and with everything from a 10k run to a 50m toddler dash, every member of the family can participate.
All of the runs and walks will be held in Herb Belcourt Park, and the morning will kick off with the 10k run. The 5k, 1k kids run, and toddler dash will each begin after this. The runners and walkers can refresh themselves at the water stations set up along the way, and prizes will be awarded.
