Sherwood Park participates in holiday shopping tour

Sherwood Park’s holiday shoppers may want to save space in their December agenda for an activity that will offer access to several pop-up markets.

The Christmas in the Country Bus Tour has two routes planned, and they will both visit six different venues spread across rural Strathcona County. The coaches will depart from the Bethel Transit terminal in the morning. Route A will first stop at Colchester Hall, followed by St. Luke School, South Cooking Lake Hall, Ministik Church, Deville/North Cooking Lake Hall and finally Wye Community Hall. Route B will stop at Holy Redeemer School first, before heading to Ardrossan 55 Plus Club, UNCAS School, Deville/North Cooking Lake Hall, Hastings Lake and ending up at Ministik Church.

The vendors at the various stops will be accepting cash only. Everyone is reminded to bring along a generous donation for the food bank and mitten tree. Food will be on offer, and sleigh rides will also take place.

Taking part in a shopping tour or other organized activity can make it easy for members of the public to access a variety of markets all in one day. Registration Forms, maps of the routes and other materials for such a function can be prepared by a brochure printing company.

Sherwood Park residents who would like to take advantage of The Christmas in the Country Bus Tour may purchase their tickets through each route’s Eventbrite listing. It will be on offer on December 6th, and will depart from 650 Bethel Drive at 9:45 am. Tickets are $10.00 each and sales will end on November 28th. Those aged over 70 or under 12 may ride for free.
