A Sherwood Park gathering will soon be celebrating the role women play in the area’s economy, and it will include lots of networking opportunities.
The Pink Tea, which is a mixer organized by the Women in Business Association Strathcona County, will be on offer at 340 Baseline Road. It has been designed to offer maximum value to its ticket holders, and the organizers hope everyone will walk away feeling refreshed and recharged.
The function will open with registration and networking, and at 11:30 am, it will be time for everyone to take their seats for the tea. Round table discussions have been planned, and the afternoon will wrap up with more connection building. The guests can discuss their business challenges and how they have tackled them as well as share their own best practices, and everyone will be encouraged to have their say. Tickets start at $65.00 for members and $70.00 for non-members; taxes and ticketing fees may be applied.
The listing for the activity pointed out that a sponsorship program is in place for any businesses that would like to get involved. Event programs and other materials prepared for a function by Stationery printers often include the names of the companies that have chosen to provide financial or other support.
This afternoon of networking and celebrating the role women play in business will be held on May 22nd. The doors will open at 10:45 am.
