A freshly made centrepiece can be the final touch for a holiday table, and Sherwood Park’s Salisbury Greenhouse will be teaching registrants how to prepare these decorative pieces.
Crafting experts will be facilitating a workshop that will teach some of the fundamentals of creating fresh floral arrangements. The participants will be working with evergreens, berries and other components, and they can either bring their own container from home or purchase one on site.
During the activity, the participants will select the materials for their centrepiece, and they will also learn how to care for it so it looks great throughout the season. Everyone is asked to bring a pair of small clippers if they have them. The fee to secure a spot is $10, and this will then be put towards any purchase made during the class. To help prevent the spread of diseases and pests, it has been requested that no outside plant materials be brought onto the site.
Many people enjoy learning new skills at crafting classes like this, and a printing services company can help a business or not-for-profit group market such events to the public.
Salisbury Greenhouse’s Christmas Centrepiece session is set to take place on December 18th from 10 am to 12 pm. It will be on offer at 52337 Range Road.
