For two days in May, Millenium Place in Sherwood Park will be buzzing with activity as it plays host to the 16th Annual Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival.
Featuring vendors from across Canada, one of the nation's largest marketplace events dedicated to scrapbooking will be on location and available to all crafters, from novice to pro. Attendees can join the makers from the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine at the interactive marketplace, where there will be 'make and takes', demos, and classes. They will also be able to shop from a wide variety of stalls featuring creative papers, rubber Stamps, custom framing and mats, specialty writing instruments, and so much more.
Cathie Allan, stamper extraordinaire, will also be teaching a 45-minute class on some of her amazing techniques in 11 first come, first served small group sessions only.
As well as the many retailers to browse, shoppers have a chance to win exciting door prizes, and makers can enter the on-site 'Layout Contest'. Market events such as this provide great opportunities for local businesses to introduce themselves to new clients through the use of colourful and attractive Letterheads created by Stationery printers.
The Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival will be held on Friday, May 26th from 9am to 9pm, and Saturday, May 27th from 9am to 6pm. General admission at the door is $5.
