When people combine creativity with plants and fresh flowers, the results can be quite impressive, and attendees at an upcoming Sherwood Park workshop will get the chance to craft some out-of-the-box floral arrangements.
Salisbury Greenhouse will be running a Birdcage Planter workshop on an afternoon in early August, and an assortment of materials will be used to create the displays. Full instructions will be provided, and the $10 class fee can be redeemed towards the purchase of items on site on the day of the event.
The workshop facilitator will help the attendees with their planting project and will also supply tips for keeping it healthy and looking great. Either succulents or tropical plants may be used, and the estimated cost of the materials for the activity is between $60 and $90. The run time for the session is one and a half hours.
A workshop such as this one may include relaying a lot of information to attendees in a small amount of time. Stationery printers can supply printed care and tip sheets and other items for attendees to take home.
Sherwood Park’s Salisbury Greenhouse has made arrangements to welcome the public for its hands-on Birdcage Planter class on Saturday, August 6th. It is set to start at 2:00 pm, and everyone is asked to arrive on time.
