Sherwood Park’s Northern Bear Golf Club will once again be helping to raise funds that will benefit local youth at an upcoming tournament.
The golfers who register for the fundraiser tournament will be taking part in a tradition of aiding the BGC Strathcona in providing children with after-school programming and other support that helps them to find their place in the world. The day will open with a shotgun start, and the dinner and reception to follow are open to all, not just participants.
The registration fee for the outing starts at $175 per person, and groups can sign up to play as a foursome. Tickets for the reception and dinner are $55 each. The golfers will play 18 holes, Texas scramble style, and they will also have access to the driving range and have use of a cart. This will be the fundraiser's second year, and the activity is suitable for those with any skill level.
