Sherwood Park floral farm plans open house sale
Savvy gardeners know the value of choosing plants native to the local area, and a Sherwood Park venue will be offering members of the public an opportunity to score some of these for themselves.
Blooms on 7 Flower Farm has scheduled its annual Seedling Sale + Open House. Those who choose to attend can meet the farmers, staff and management and find out what the farm has to offer, as well as picking up some seedlings to take home.
The open house will offer a sneak peek into how the farm starts and grows its stock of annuals and perennials for sale each year. There will be specialty seedlings available that are not always easy to find in the commercial trade, and tubers for a variety of dahlia cultivars will be on offer too, along with delphiniums and other plants. The farmers will be on hand to answer questions and offer advice.
