Ammonia finds a variety of applications in facilities in Sherwood Park, and a day dedicated to its safe handling and use will soon be on offer in the community.
The Ammonia Safety Training Institute hosts safety days in various locations, and it will be hosting its Edmonton instalment in Sherwood Park. It will be a one-day conference, and there will be lots of opportunities for the attendees to learn and network with others.
The gathering, which may be of interest to facility managers, public safety officials and first responders, as well as many others, will offer the latest news of ammonia safety. Interactive workshops and presentations have been scheduled, and both emergency protocols and best practices are on the slate for discussion. Lunch, which will be served in house, is included in the registration fee.
