The Mediterranean diet is well known for being healthful and good for the heart, and anyone who would like to increase their knowledge of this culinary style is encouraged to register for an upcoming class.
Sherwood Park residents will be able to brush up on their culinary knowledge when they participate in the “Eating the Mediterranean Way” class. Anyone who is interested will be asked to attend the function in person, and the importance of partnering with their family doctor and a dietitian will be stressed.
The learners in the class will find out why this style of eating can lead to improved health, and they will also discover how it can be quite easy to incorporate its typical ingredients into many of the dishes they already know how to make. Herbs, spices and the other flavour builders that are often used in this type of cookery are also on the agenda for discussion.
This learning session is being held at the Sherwood Park Strathcona County Primary Care Network, and everyone is asked to arrive by no later than 1:30 pm. Workshop kits that include promotional Pens and other learning materials prepared by a brochure printing company are often handed out during an organized event like this .
This introduction to the benefits of the Mediterranean diet has been planned for December 12th.
