The Business Awards dinner and gala of the Sherwood Park and District Chamber of Commerce is set to take place during Alberta Small Business Week later this month.
The evening's activities will consist of a champagne reception for the finalists, a general cocktail reception, a sit-down dinner, and the presentations of the awards. Among the various categories of prizes to be handed out during the evening are Business of the Year, Community Service/Involvement, Environmental Protection and Occupational Safety, Don Neil - Young Entrepreneurial Award, and Newsmaker of the Year.
The dinner and gala event is a good way for Sherwood Park’s small business owners to network with one another and to learn more about the other companies in the city. Local printing companies have likely been asked to provide business card printing services to many of those attending.
Everyone present at the venue will want to make sure they have enough Business Cards to exchange with their peers and will no doubt be looking to ensure their contact information is correct and up to date. There should be several opportunities to talk business during the evening.
The Business Awards ceremony is set to take place at the Coast Edmonton East Hotel on October 25, with the evening starting at 6:00pm and coming to an end around 10:00pm.
