An event has been planned for the Sherwood Park area that will bring the world to its doorstep.
Around the World with Fabulous@50 will bring together exhibitors with an interest in travel and diversity. A variety of booths and other displays will be set up, giving the public an opportunity to browse through clothing, jewelry and other products that focus on travel. Along with the vendor area, there will also be entertainment and food that celebrates the diversity of cultures that can be found in city. Speakers will also be giving presentations throughout the event that give further inspiration to experience all that the world has to offer through traveling.
Tickets for the event can be purchased either online at a price of $15 for two, or at the door for $10 each. It has been scheduled for May 14 at Prince of Wales Armouries Heritage Centre, which is located at 10440 108 Avenue NW in Edmonton. It will start at 10:00 am and run until 5:00 pm. Free parking is available, and the Royal Alex LRT station is five minutes away for those who prefer to use public transportation.
