New Sherwood Park kitchen store set for September opening

A new kitchenware store, The Pan Tree, will be opening at a Sherwood Park location during the first week of September. It is owned by Cathy Slobodian and Natalie Nelson, who own the gift-basket business ‘Baskets in the Park’.

The new store will feature a kitchen, which will be used to hold cooking classes given by a fully qualified chef and for product demonstrations. It will sell all equipment necessary to have a well-stocked kitchen, such as pots and pans, utensils, baking tools, and food processors. Baskets in the Park will also be moving into the new store.

Opening a new store is the perfect opportunity for a new marketing campaign. Sherwood Park printing companies could help the Pan Tree come up with a campaign that will ensure they get off to a good start. It could consist of Flyers, coupons, Catalogues and Brochures. A simple flyer could contain all the store information, plus a money-saving coupon, so that when the person who received it brings the flyer back to receive the discount, the store will be able to gauge how successful their campaign was. This would no doubt come in handy for future marketing campaigns.

Coupons can also be distributed as inserts in newspapers or through Direct Mail. A catalogue would give the public an idea of the kind of products available and can also contain money-off coupons. The store could also create a brochure of grand opening sale items, also featuring discount coupons.
