Strathcona County and the Sherwood Park and District Chamber of Commerce are presenting a business startup seminar series this March. The four week series will help those would like to start their own business.
The seminars will cover every aspect of starting a new business including coming up with an idea, marketing, writing a business plan and how to grow their businesses. Each one will be presented by Jim Ewing of Pro-Vision Solutions.
Topics will be "Exploring ideas and business plans" which will teach participants how to assess opportunities, "Starting and your market" touching on market research, "Operating and managing the business" and "Financing, growing and summing up." Each seminar will take place on Tuesday evening from 6:30 - 9:30 PM.
The series will no doubt also serve as a networking opportunity for those in Sherwood Park who are new business owners or just deciding on what type of business to open. Local Stationery printers may be called upon to provide Business Cards. Even if they have not opened their business, it may be a good idea to keep in touch with some of those they will meet.
The "Business Startup Seminar Series" will take place at the Strathcona County Community Centre from March 4 to 25. Fees are $80 which covers all four seminars. For more information, call 780-464-0801.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards Get a Free Quote for Stationery
