The Ardrossan Lobster Dinner, Dance and Silent Auction is set to take place early in May.
The event is being organised to raise funds for the Ardrossen Recreation and Agricultural Society and other worthwhile local projects in the area such as renovating the Memorial Hall.
Those attending the lobster dinner will be treated to a cocktail reception, a silent auction, dinner and dancing. It will be a great evening out for the community and will allow neighbors to enjoy a nice meal out together. This will also be an excellent networking opportunity for local business persons. While it is a social event, there will always be time to briefly discuss business.
Businesses in the area, including those is nearby Sherwood Park, will no doubt be donating items for the silent auction. They can let their customers know about it by designing and printing a flyer describing the event and what it will be raising funds for.
This will have the effect of making the company look good to its customers but also will help to raise awareness of the event. The Flyers can then be distributed in a variety of ways, including Direct Mail, newspaper inserts; they can even be handed out on street corners. They are an inexpensive and effective form of advertising.
