Sherwood Park’s Salisbury Greenhouse recently announced that it will once again be offering its Festive Holiday Planter workshops, and there will be two dates for the public to choose from.
The winter holiday season is often a time for bright colours and festive decor, and a planter filled with branches and other live decorative elements can add the final touch to local displays. During the upcoming Sherwood Park sessions, participants will use branches, twigs and blooming poinsettias to create a festive planter display, and they are welcome to customize it with ornaments, bows or anything else they wish.
Both sessions will both take place in the evening, and advanced registration is required. A deposit of $10 will reserve a spot, and this can be used towards the purchase of items at the greenhouse on the day of the event. To help prevent the spread of plant diseases, the attendees are asked to not bring outside greenery into the facility.
An event of this type gives local residents a chance to get creative and add an extra touch of beauty to the holiday season. Flyer printing is often used for this type of event to market it to the local area.
Salisbury Greenhouse will be offering its Festive Holiday Planter workshop on November 27th and December 11th. Both sessions will begin at 5:30pm and will run until 7:30pm.
