2015 marks the 18th season of the Patio Series at Festival Place in Sherwood Park. Every week, two musical acts will entertain and quite possibly serenade the crowd. This year’s line-up includes everything from local and touring musicians playing an assorted variety of pop, rock, folk, world and jazz music.
With a few more weeks before summer’s end, everyone is welcome to check out the performances, enjoy an evening with friends and fill up on BBQ and refreshments.
Local Print companies help make these performances a success with various types of services, such as poster and flyer printing, ticket printing and banner printing.
The August 5 performance featured the “blues driven party rock” of local rock band Bucker. The band’s debut, self-titled album was released this spring on iTunes with 10 original songs. Celtic music group Celtra also performed on August 5 at the Patio Series.
Upcoming shows will include Spender Murray & Pipeslinger, The Edmonton Metropolitan Orchestra, Cadence & Nathan and The Marco Claveria Project, among other acts.
Events are on every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. until August 26. The show starts promptly at 7:30 and goes on whether rain or shine. If it does happen to rain, the event will move into one of the banquet rooms.
