South Cooking Lake Trail Days is a festival that is taking place next month, hosted by the South Cooking Lake and Area Community League.
This event is set to have a full day of family friendly events, including a pancake breakfast, a parade, and a show and shine car show. There will be a strawberry tea, musical performances, and a marketplace.
The Kids Zone will feature pony rides, a petting zoo and an inflatable water slide. There will also be a variety of games and races.
In addition, there will be a horseshoe tournament and balloon rides for visitors of all ages.
Organizers are still looking for volunteers to help with the various activities and in opening and closing the festival.
The South Cooking Lake Trail offers miles of walking trails, a children's playground and the opportunity for bird watching.
Many families from Sherwood Park and other nearby communities will probably be very interested in attending this festival. To help spread the word about events such as this in the area, local Stationery printers are often asked to provide advertising materials such as Flyers, which are then distributed.
