There are lots of events going on in Sherwood Park this holiday season, from tours to gift shows. However, Festival Place is presenting three productions that could help get people ready to celebrate.
A Barra MacNeils Christmas, this November, will have the Cape Breton family groups performing traditional Celtic holiday music. They are delivering both a matinee and an evening show.
Early in December, An African Christmas with Black Umfolosi is a performance of Imbube music and gumboot and Zulu dancing. This choreographed concert gives audience members a different view on how the holidays are celebrated around the world.
Finally, The Craig Brenan Band will be presenting ‘Duke Ellington's The Nutcracker Suite’. This was Ellington's rewriting and modernizing of the Tchaikovsky work. The band will also be performing swing and jazz holiday music.
All three of these events offer a different take on the holidays and should appeal to many Sherwood Park residents. Local Print companies may provide the tickets and programs guests will receive.
All of the performances are taking place at Festival Place starting at 7:30pm. A Barra MacNeils Christmas is taking place on November 30th, and tickets range in price from $32 to $36. An African Christmas is playing on December 4th, with tickets priced $28-$32. Duke Ellington's The Nutcracker Suite will take place on December 5th, and tickets cost from $28 up to $32.Get a Free Quote for Print
