Whether it is grown indoors or out, cultivating bonsai can be a real test of a green thumb’s skill. A workshop being held in April in Sherwood Park aims to demonstrate that the art of growing this type of plant doesn't have to be difficult.
Salisbury Greenhouse will host the class and it will be focused on the care and cultivation of bonsai, and the techniques taught can be used to grow both coniferous and deciduous trees. Each attendee will be going home with their own plant, which will hopefully be able to grow for a long time.
The class will teach techniques used to grow bonsai, including pruning and wiring the stems. Students will discover the different Forms and shapes that can be achieved through proper training of their tree, and there will also be a discussion about the types of trees that can be cultivated using these methods.
The registration fee for this event is $50, and this will cover the cost of the materials, including a pot, soil, fertilizer and wire. As the event will offer an introduction to the art of bonsai, supplying attendees of a class like this with simple manuals prepared by Stationery printers can help to ensure they can keep caring for their new plant even after the workshop is over.
Salisbury Greenhouse will be offering this event on April 7th from 2pm.Get a Free Quote for Stationery Get a Free Quote for Forms
