Edmonton workshop to prepare festive planters

With winter on the way, many in Edmonton may be giving consideration to their outdoor holiday decor, and an upcoming workshop can help.

Funky Petals, which is located in North Edmonton, has scheduled a workshop that will explore the fundamentals of designing a holiday planter arrangement. The Crown & Anchor Pub will serve as the venue for the activity, and tickets to join the fun are $99.00 plus GST.

Each registrant in the Winter Outdoor Planter Insert Class will learn how to take a selection of greenery, berried branches, evergreen cones and other design elements to create an arrangement insert. At the end of the class, they can take it home and add it to a large planter or other container. There will be food and drink specials on offer, and the session is for those age 18 and up. The insert will be 10 inches by 10 inches in diameter, and they will be intended for use outdoors.
