What's Happening in Edmonton, AB…

Another school year has come and gone for Edmonton's kids, and that means it's almost time for a special local celebration.

At the time this was written, tickets for the annual Kickoff to Summer Family Fun day at the waterpark at West Edmonton Mall were available. Only a limited number of passes will be sold, and this means that there will be few to no line ups for the slides and other fun.

There will only be 700 passes instead of the usual daily 3500 sold for the watermark for its end of the school year bash. The 17 slides , wave pool and toddler areas will be open, and the hot tubs will also be in operation. The kids can visit the climbing structure and spray zone, and the concession stands will be open for anyone who would like a bite to eat or a drink. Lounge chairs will be set up, and Early Bird tickets will be on offer until May 15th. After that, that the price goes up.

When hosting a special event, organizers can let a local poster printing company help with the marketing side. They supply a wide range of services and products, with many budget friendly options.

This salute to the end of another school year will be on offer on June 28th. It will begin at 5:30 pm.
