Edmonton organizers accept application for pop-up market

Edmonton’s Sherbrooke Community League recently announced that it is pleased to be able to offer spaces in a pop up style market, and at the time this was prepared, spots were available both indoors and out.

The organizers of the Sherbrooke Community League Community League Day Craft Sale have made 18 indoor and 30 outdoor spaces available in the activity. The accepted vendors will have access to the event space for 12 hours, and booking fees start at $43.93.

The small businesses that participate are advised to arrive well in advance they can get set up before opening, and free coffee and tea will be provided. Everyone is asked to remain onsite until the market closes, and those who reserve an outdoor space will need to supply their own table. Tenting and weights are highly recommended, and everyone will be asked to describe what items they have for sale as well as their needs and any special requests when they apply.

Small businesses often welcome the opportunity to be part of a pop up event, as they tend to attract a lot of public attention. Booth decor may help to draw customers in, and it can be prepared by area poster printing companies.

The Sherbrooke Community League’s Community League Day Craft Sale will put a spotlight on Edmonton’s crafters, makers and other small businesses on September 13th at 13008 122 Avenue Northwest. Its web listing includes an application link.
