Edmonton fans of BBQ and jerk cuisine may just find that a local festival on the way for the city will be just what they have been looking for.
The community is set to welcome the Edmonton Jerk Fest and Family BBQ, and it will be bringing fun and flavour to the Northmount Community Centre. It will be a casual occasion, and all ages are invited to stop by.
The day will see attendees enjoy their fill of jerk-style food, with the event scheduled to run for 12 hours. A special area will be set up with inflatables and other fun for the enjoyment of the function's young guests. Everyone can take in the live music and other entertainment, and the menu for the day includes jerk-style pork, chicken and fish, as well as a full selection of sides. The food will be supplied courtesy of Edmonton Jerk and BBQ Hub.
