Ranging from grocery store staples such as Phalaenopsis to exotic and native species including lady’s slippers, orchids are plants that fascinate many people, and they will be the stars of an Edmonton area show.
The Orchid Society of Alberta's Orchid Fair: Annual Show and Sale will be celebrating these popular plants, and this will be its 45th year. Whether they are serious orchidophiles or are new to their care and culture, this event will have lots to offer attendees, and it will run for three days. Everyone can enjoy all the floral displays, and collectors may find some new additions for their indoor garden.
The gathering will be taking place in the Moonflower Room of the Enjoy Centre in St. Albert, and admission is $10.00 per day. Kids under 12 are encouraged to attend and may enter free of charge, and parking will be free too.
The list of vendors will include several international entries, as well as Canadian small businesses. Setting up shop in a pop-up market like this one may really pay off for a company, and custom design Packaging supplies and other sales materials can be ordered from Stationery printers.
