Residents of Edmonton who enjoy learning about prehistoric times will soon have a chance to get up close and personal with dinosaurs.
The Telus World of Science will be hosting a new exhibit dedicated to these impressive ancient beasts. Entitled ‘Dinosaurs Unearthed’, it will feature models of a variety of creatures from millions of years ago, and will use a mixture of animatronics, sound, dramatic lighting, and textures to replicate how scientists believed they actually looked.
One of the newest theories that will be demonstrated is that dinos had feathers, and were the ancestors of modern birds. This will be shown through the use of seven display models, how they evolved into flying, warm-blooded creatures. There’s also a Tyrannosaurs Rex with a layer of down, and a 4.5 meter tall replica of a Gigantoraptor.
There are likewise plenty of opportunities for visitors to get some hands-on experience with the exhibits. There will be a digging area for people to try out their planetology skills, and even a stegosaurus for guests to experiment with via a remote control.
The exhibit is set to open in May.
Visitors to the museum may well want to take home souvenirs of their experiences, and a poster printing firm can help. They can create Posters showing the dinosaurs and others parts of the exhibit for people to display in the own homes.Get a Free Quote for Posters
