A seasonal soiree is on the way for Edmonton, and event organizers are promising an evening of festive fun for all those on its guest list.
The annual holiday gathering of the Metis Settlements General Council will be held at the Edmonton EXPO Centre, and dinner and dancing are both on the agenda. It will boast a nostalgic theme, and tickets start at $45.00 each.
The family friendly function will include a festive dinner complete with a dessert buffet, and everyone will be treated to cultural entertainment. Metis dancing, storytelling, and singing have all been planned, and there will be a special experience just for children. They will be able to make a craft and visit with Santa, and an artisan market will be on site for anyone who would like to do some holiday shopping.
A door prize draw is also in the works, and if previous years are any indication, it is expected to draw a large crowd. Anyone who purchases their ticket before November 21 will have their name entered in an early bird door prize draw.
Many organizations and groups have holiday events on offer and may be in the market for special decor. A banner printing company can provide an assortment of options.
The 2025 Metis Settlements General Council Christmas Party will bring the fun to Edmonton on December 12. Its doors will open at 5:30 pm.
