Camrose pop-up a must for local gardeners

Camrose green thumbs are invited to make tracks for a one-day-only sale that can help to get their garden off to a great start for the 2020 growing season.

This pop-up plant sale and exchange, which will be both organized and hosted by the Camrose Heritage Railway Museum, will be a relaxed affair with lots of time for browsing. The plants that will be included will be sourced from the museum’s gardens, as well as donations from the local community.

The public who attends the event can purchase some new additions for their beds, and they can also meet and chat with other green thumbs. As well as the greenery, there will be a variety of gently used pots and other items for the yard, and beverages and slices of carrot cake will be on offer.

One of the benefits of attending this type of function is, since gardening experts are often on hand, it can be a great place to gather advice and learn. Tip sheets and other plant care aids can be crafted to distribute to the attendees, and Stationery printers will be able to offer this service.

This cheery opening to another Camrose summer gardening season will be taking place on May 30. The venue for the swap and sale can be found at 4407 47th Avenue, and it will start at 10:00 am.
