Workshop to offer exploration of anxiety in kids

Today’s world can be very stressful, and the parents and caregivers who take a seat for an upcoming Calgary workshop will walk away armed with tools they can use to help their child cope with anxiety.

The Childhood Anxiety: Helping Children Heal learning session, which is a presentation of the University of Calgary, will include lots of actionable tips that may be helpful to parents or guardians of an anxious child. It will explore the topic from the ground up, starting with how anxiety issues can arise in the first place.

The function will explore the topic from a strength-based approach, offering practical learning and information. It will introduce some of the latest research in the field, and it may be helpful to educators and others who work with young people. It will run throughout the day, and subsidized tickets may be available for anyone who needs some financial assistance.

Each learner in the workshop will receive learning materials, as well as an electronic certificate of completion. A printing services company can provide products like these, as well as promotional Pens and other materials.

The Childhood Anxiety: Helping Children Heal learning session has been scheduled for Saturday, November 6th. It will begin at 9:00 am, and it will be held in person at the University of Calgary.
