Members of Calgary's chapter of the Rotary Club participate in a variety of community service projects for the benefit of others. The chapter has reached out to the public to let them know about its upcoming fundraiser, and it promises lots of high-energy fun for all who attend.
The evening will feature the talents of experienced celebrity auctioneer Danny Hooper. It will combine food, live and silent auctions, and a wine pull with an agenda filled with entertainment to create an experience the hosts hope will live long in the memory. While they celebrate, the crowd will have a chance to see the difference their support is making right in their home community, and tickets to be a part of the fun start at $125.
The attendees at the function will be invited to enjoy a menu of dishes showcasing international cuisine, and an airline ticket raffle will be on the agenda. The wine tree raffle includes 100 bottles in a variety of styles, and tickets for this will be sold before the event. The Rotary Club of Calgary Downtown will be hosting its ‘Rotary Ungala’ on Tuesday, October 1. This community fundraiser is open to all adults, and the celebration will be held at 7904 43 Avenue Northwest.
