The Western Canadian Pet Industry Trade Show is taking place in Calgary for two days next month. It is presented by the Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council of Canada (PIJAC).
This is only one of four trade shows that will be presented in various parts of Canada.
There will be a number of exhibitors on hand to showcase the latest in pet products for professionals and store managers. Many of the exhibitors will be demonstrating their products.
Dr. Kerry Korber will be hosting two educational seminars. Topics are Reptile Lighting and Heating and Rabbit Nutrition. The seminars cost $55 each.
VIP passes can be purchased for $300 with a PIJAC membership or $250 without. They include both seminars, a dinner and several food vouchers.
The show will finish off with a networking dinner on Sunday evening from 5:00 to 11:30 PM. This will include a buffet, wine and cash bar. The Canadian Pet Community Awards Western Region will be presented at this event. Five categories of awards are handed out including Distributors, Manufacturers and Chain Store.
Industry professionals will no doubt be bringing their Business Cards to Calgary to exchange with their peers.
