Calgary to host evening of stories and song

Tom Jackson, a well-known First Nations entertainer and recipient of the Order of Canada, will be the host for an evening of songs and stories that will raise money for dyslexia and Alzheimer's research.

The Valley of Calgary’s Scottish Rite chapter has invited one and all to attend a special performance featuring Jackson. With Chuck Rose providing the opening entertainment for the evening, the audience can count on enjoying themselves, and while they do, they will be supporting their community.

Admission for the event starts at $32.84, and each guest will be able to select their seat when they purchase tickets. The run time for the performance will be three hours, and the audience will be welcome to sing along if they wish. The monies raised will support various projects, including Alzheimer’s disease research and the Learning Centre, which offers a variety of services for children with dyslexia.

Programmes are often prepared to distribute during this sort of function, which can be kept afterwards as souvenirs of the occasion. A printer that offers Graphic Design Services can prepare these sorts of materials and, depending on the customer’s budget, they can be printed in black and white or full colour.

The “Feeling Good” fundraising evening will be held at Grace Presbyterian Church on April 12th. Tickets to attend the performance are on sale now.
